Classes are officially over May 4th and I’m finally reaching the home stretch. This weekend was really rough, and I’m glad it’s in my rear-view mirror.
I am taking 3 classes. Two of these classes had group projects due yesterday. One project was a restaurant design and another project was organizing a menu and recipes for a football dinner. Both classes were taught by the same professor so they were structured the same. We were assigned our groups at the beginning of the semester. We were instructed to use google docs to work on these and each group had a discussion board within blackboard to talk to each other.
Both of my groups had 4 people each…. let’s just say I experienced some of the hiccups once can experience with group projects. I’m just glad these projects are over.
This is what I have left to do to finish this semester:
- intro to food service mgt final
- food mgt systems final
- experimental food science (efs) exam
- 10 efs labs (yeah, I fell a little behind!)
- written lab for efs
- 2 assignments for efs
So yeah, you can see that the majority of the work I have left is for my Experimental Food Science class. This is a class where the professor has everything due at the end of the semester and it is hard to make myself sit down and do everything. This class is like nutritional biochemistry but harder, and I hate it with a passion! It is taught by the same professor, too.
Countdown til I’m finished: 11 days
