Happy (almost) St. Patrick’s Day!
Last Saturday evening, K and I babysat. We stopped and had dinner at Fuel Pizza in Cornelius.
He had a chicken parmesan calzone and I had a custom calzone with spinach, olives and mushrooms. Neither one of us was that impressed, and that is saying a lot since K loooooves pizza. He said his was too garlic-y. Mine had way too much ricotta cheese and not enough seasoning. Sad face.
That Sunday I went shopping in South Park. I ended up getting 2 blazers and a sweater for work at The Limited. I honestly have been boycotting that store since I had a bad gift card experience there but I was with a friend and she was looking for Limited-type clothing for work. I was able to get a really good deal because the blazers were buy one, get one free, I had a $30 off coupon and I got an additional 10% off because I have Limited credit card. Holla for sales.
I also got this e-reader sleeve in the Vera Bradley store for my iPad mini. I’ve definitely grown out of the Vera Bradley purses and totes, but I thought this was cute for something I would toss in my work bag. My $40 apple case does not protect the back of my ipad so I felt like I needed something different.
I spent Monday and Tuesday in Raleigh for work meetings. We ate at David’s Noodle & Dumpling Bar. It was good! I had guitar lesson on Wednesday and also filed our taxes.
This weekend has been pretty low key. I ran errands this morning and then went to a 10:30 Zumba class. This evening K and I went to Costco and had dinner at Sauceman’s BBQ in south Charlotte. I had never been there before but it was really good. My only complaint is that they had run out of pork bbq and brisket… what kind of BBQ place runs out of pork bbq on a Saturday evening? Oh well. I think K liked the place because he could watch basketball…
The weather here has been awesome this weekend- in the 70s and sunny. I want to take my bike out on the greenway but I’m afraid I won’t be able to walk for the next week :)
And just for fun…
