Ever since I read Chris Powell’s book, Choose More, Lose More for Life, I’ve been inspired to eat healthier. I’m not following his diet plan per se but this book definitely got me thinking of how to balance protein, carbs and fats more efficiently.
Here’s what I ate yesterday:
Breakfast @ 5:30 AM- Skim Milk, 2 egg white muffins and a fresh pear
Lunch @ 12:30 PM- Hummus & cucumber sandwich, fresh strawberries and a DDP.
Snack @ 4:00 PM- Cottage cheese & baked apples… the best snack ever!
Dinner @ 7:30 PM- Pho
I’ve also been trying harder to drink at least 6 cups of water everyday. I’ve found that the best way to do this is to keep a water bottle or large tumbler cup with me all day.
