It has been a loooong time since I’ve done a Thinking Out Loud post (linking up with Running with Spoons… please go check out Amanda’s blog because she seems awesome) but this morning seemed like a good time to jump back in! So please kick back, relax, and prepare yourself for 10 random thoughts from this week. Here we go.
#1- I feel like this song seemed pretty appropriate for this post:
Except why is Ed Sheeran trying to ballroom dance? Just… no.
#2- I have a bad habit on Saturdays of doing a bunch of laundry, folding it and leaving it all out on the bed. And then this happens.
#3- Speaking of dogs, if you follow along here then you know Lily is my problem child. I lost track of how many Louis Vuitton bags worth of vet bills I’ve paid for her in the past few years. Her latest issue is that she has a urinary tract infection. Do you know how awkward it is to talk to your vet about your dog’s lady parts? Very awkward. I couldn’t keep a straight face…. I’m mature like that.
#4- Why can’t athletes just keep their s— together? Warren Sapp, I’m talking to you. Is it not enough that these people are blessed with talent and make millions of dollars?
#5- OPI’s Lincoln Park After Dark is always in rotation for winter pedicures. (I give myself pedicures because I hate people touching my feet).
#6- Grapefruit is still a staple around here lately.
#7- I think I have found the perfect mountain bike for me: Specialized Jett Pro. The frame fits me well, the bike has a great feel and most importantly, it has a lot of what I’ve been looking for on a bike (29er, shimano shift levers, remote lockout, hydraulic disc brakes). The only problem is the color. Why is every other bike in the Jett line a neutral color but the one that fits the bill is bright blue?
#8- I have the day off of work and I’m thinking about taking my bike out to do some trail riding. Or I might sit at home and spend some quality time with my DVR. Only time will tell.
#9- I’m planning to start reading my first book of 2015 this weekend. Has anyone ever read the Outlander series? If so, would you recommend them?
#10- Thanks so much to everyone who filled out my blog survey. I have gotten great feedback that gives me a little bit of insight into what people prefer to read about. I’m leaving the survey open through the weekend in case you missed it.
What is going on with you today? Anything random to share?
Does anyone else get obsessed with specifics foods like I do?
