Good morning, friends. I hope you are having a fantastic Tuesday. I have the day off today and originally had plans to meet a friend for breakfast, but one of her kids isn’t feeling well. So I’m coming to you from the comfort of my couch while enjoying a hot cup of coffee. Can’t complain about that one bit!
So I originally had plans for a post today about diet soda and whether is is unhealthy/harmful to you. This is such a hot topic… I received some requests in my blog survey to touch on this, and I always get asked this question at any type of educational session I’ve ever done.
When I write a nutrition post, I like to give you the information (like studies) to be able to form your own opinion about things rather than just telling you some anecdotal story about whatever I’m talking about. Well, turns out there are a lot of studies about diet soda intake, weight loss, artificial sweeteners, etc. and they are all kind of pointing in different directions. I re-read my post last night and it just seems kind of clustered, so I’m going to re-write it and hopefully have it to you soon.
I was going to skip posting today because I hate to post just to post when I don’t really have anything to share.
But then I came across this picture on Facebook and it really spoke to me.
I love this –> “We need more encouragers. We already have too many critics.”
Lately, I have really enjoyed reading bloggers sharing positive and encouraging messages. So when I saw this picture, I knew I had to share it with you guys. The world is already such a negative place…. when we have the opportunity to support and encourage someone, we should do it. To me, this picture doesn’t just apply to health and fitness. We should be encouragers in our every day lives as well.
Hope you guys have a great day!
