Hey guys! Hope you had a great weekend and are ready to get this week started. Mine was pretty fun because I get my hair done and got together with my family.
I stuck with my normal balayage hair color with highlights just a few shades lighter than my natural color. I’ve kept this color style for a few years and like how low-maintenance it is.
I also got a very minor trim. I like growing my hair out in the winter! Thanks as always to the awesome Liz at Loo Loo’s hair salon for taking care of my hair.
I used to use salon-grade shampoo but switched to drugstore brand this spring. I have noticed a definite change in the texture of my hair since then and talked to my stylist about switching back. I used to use Sedu shampoo and conditioner but see that they are not making that anymore. If anyone has some shampoo/condition recs then please help a sister out
December is a big birthday month in my family. I turn 3-0 on Friday and my stepbrother and I share the same birthday. My stepdad’s birthday was on Friday.
We are all spread out over the carolinas so we decided to get together for dinner this weekend in Charlotte. As the Charlottean, I got the privilege of selecting the restaurant and decided that Mexican (and margaritas) would be the perfect way to celebrate.
We all met at Cantina 1511 on Saturday evening. If you are in the Charlotte area and have never eaten there, you basically need to go there ASAP. I love their salsa, margaritas and chimichangas.
I’m happy that we could all get together this past weekend, and I’m looking forward to celebrating some more with my friends this weekend!
P.S. Here’s a pic of Lily enjoying the view of Charlotte. She’s a city girl, for sure.
Did you do anything fun this weekend?
