Hey guys! Hope you have had a great week and are all geared up for the weekend. I am actually on call tomorrow and working on Sunday, so things will probably stay a little low key around here.
It’s been a month since I moved and sadly my old night stand would not fit in my bedroom. So I decided to get an unfinished one from the Ikea Tarva line and paint it myself.
My hand and arm have really been bothering me since my bike wreck, so Micah helped me put it together on Wednesday night. And by help, I mean that he put it together and Lily and I watched him.
A lot of bad things have happened this week in the news and I feel like I should acknowledge them here. But I really don’t know what to say. I wish we had better gun control in this country. In regards to the Disney World incident, I wish people would stop mommy shaming and placing blame during difficult situations. I wish our country would use weeks like this week to come together instead of dividing us apart. Part of me feels like I am just 1 person so what does my opinion matter? But then I realize that if everyone thought like that then no change would ever be made.
