Hey friends! Happy Friday!
I hope that you have had a great week. Mine has been good but busy!
Half Marathon Training
It feels crazy to say this but I only have 2 weeks left of half marathon training. I ran for 8 miles on Sunday! It was definitely my best run in all of my training so far. I ran at my fastest pace (13 min/mile) and I also ran my fastest 5k and 10k times. It really built my confidence!
I had a hard time with 7 miles the week before but I could tell that a lot of it was because I could have been more hydrated. I was super cognizant of that moving forward and I have been done a better job keeping up with my fluids. It definitely made a huge difference on Sunday
I still like my new shoes!
G & G Stuff
Sooooo I have been super busy with G & G stuff this week. Like, I think I spent all of my free time outside of sleeping working on my business. I’m kind of at a stand-still right now. I have my website set up. My ecommerce stuff is working. My handouts and business procedures are good to go… but now I need the clients. Something they don’t teach you in your dietetic internship is marketing, and I’m not the type of person who naturally puts myself out there. This is definitely a learning curve for me! Truthfully, I have been feeling a little down on myself these past few weeks, and feelings of doubt about my business skills have been creeping up in my the back of my mind. But then I had a really amazing business coaching session this week and I have a tangible marketing plan moving forward. I feel a lot better about things!
Since life is a little crazy right now, I feel like my meals have been all over the place. Sometimes there’s pizza.
Sometimes there are salads.
Sometimes there are home cooked meals.
And sometimes things come out of a package.
I think nutrition rolls with the seas of life; as long as there is some sort of balance, you have to do what works for you.
That’s about it for today…. I hope you have a FABULOUS weekend!
What are you up to this weekend? We are currently couch shopping. We are looking for something that is deep and very loungey- any suggestions?
