Q: What are your fees?
A: My 6-week group coaching program is $499.
Q: Do you accept insurance? What is my coverage?
A: I offer a limited number of 1-1 nutrition coaching sessions and I accept insurance for North Carolina residents only. I am contracted as an in-network provider with the following BlueCross BlueShield plans: Blue Advantage, Blue Care, Blue Options, Blue Select, the NC State Health Plan, the Federal Employee Program, Blue Value and Blue Local with Wake Forest Health. Please note that I am unfortunately not an in-network provider for Blue Local Atrium at this time. Currently due to COVID-19, BCBS is extending their coverage to Telehealth visits.
If I am in network with your insurance plan, you can check with your insurance company using this form to determine what type of coverage you have for nutrition visits. Many plans cover nutrition coaching at 100% as preventative healthcare.
I also provide a medical receipt (called a superbill) upon request if you would like to file your visit with a different insurance plan.
Q: How will we meet?
Virtually! All of my visits are held in my HIPAA-compliant electronic medical record system called Simple Practice. I previously saw clients local to the Charlotte area in my Dilworth office, but those visits have been moved to virtual due to Covid-19.
